Arizona Sen. Sonny Borelli tells Doug Billings: Election chain of custody has been violated – Brighteon.TV

Arizona Senator Sonny Borelli told "The Right Side" host Doug Billings that the election chain of custody has been violated during the 2020 presidential election. "So technically that will alone make this an uncertifiable election. Because how do you account for over 700,000 ballots that there's no documentation for? You can't say, 'Well, we found them over here in the corner they came in, we have them.' Well, how can you prove that?" Borelli asked during the April 19 episode of "The Right Side" on Brighteon.TV. "Obviously, you can't because the chain of custody has been violated. They violated numerous state election laws. And even the Federal law says that you have to have a chain of custody protocols which they did not follow." Billings talked with Borelli about Arizona Attorney General Mark Brnovich's 12-page letter outlining some of the results of their election fraud investigation that is still ongoing. The host noted that among the key findings in the investigation are the chain of custody and the security of the mail-in ballots. Borelli said a voter getting his or her ballot is already an obstacle in the mail-in ballot system. The Arizona senator mentioned the security issues in the drop box system in some of the counties and the system to ensure that there was a chain of custody for it. He said the chain of custody was highlighted in the interim report of the attorney general. "So I'm glad they're acknowledging that what was being turned over is valid. And I believe that's going to be in their next final report because they highlighted the chain and we're just talking about the drop boxes alone," said the retired United States Marine Corps gunnery sergeant, who served in the Marines from 1977 to 1999. Borelli also brought up the issue of the 100,000 to 200,000 ballot documents that didn't have the required signatures of people transporting them, as well as the ballot count through the drop box system. He added that the documentation is completely a mess for being blank and the lack of a signature or a date to translate. The Arizona senator also lamented that Maricopa County has been obstructing their election probe process, saying that they had to go to court to fight for a subpoena authorization. (Related: Criminal prosecutions for Maricopa County election fraud are coming, according to Arizona AG’s interim report.) He said the Senate already initiated the election audit and had turned it over to the attorney general to verify and examine their findings. Borelli added that the Attorney General's Office can criminally prosecute anyone involved in the election fraud. According to Borelli, the legislature wants to find out and verify if the election system is broken so that they could pass laws to fix it. "For example, these drop boxes. We need to have heavy security for them. We have several pieces of legislation that went through the legislature. This verifies the reason why we need to have tighter security on these drop boxes. I brought up to Senate Committees hearing that these drop boxes were problematic," said Borelli.

Election integrity legislation getting killed in Congress

The three-term senator stated that they have already filed Senate Bill 1629, which would require the auditor general to do audits of election stuff, countermeasures for drop boxes training and signature verification. Unfortunately, the bill did not pass in the Senate, with two of six Republican senators saying no. Borelli said "true" Republicans have a lot of election integrity legislation that they are trying to get through, but they have a couple who want to sign with the Democrats. The vice-chair of the Senate Committee on Government said they have been trying to clean voter rules and similar election stuff but all these things keep getting blocked in Congress. He also indicated that fellow Arizona Senator Kelly Townsend, the chair of the Senate government elections committee, had several pieces of election legislation that went down in the voting.
